Reuse projects are complicated. Over the years, we have found that many clients don’t know where to start or understand the process of completing these complex projects. Heritage Architecture Studio has developed a pre-project tool — the Strategic Reuse Plan — that we utilize with each client as a guide to review the key components of the project and map out a plan for reuse.

One key component of every reuse project is the condition assessment which, sometimes, can involve a series of condition assessments that delve into greater detail as the project progresses. Assessments range from overall condition ratings of a campus or collection of buildings, to detailed assessments of specific building components, such as Terra Cotta cladding or windows.
